BF Property began as Buildfirst Ltd in 2009. Seventeen years of Canterbury building, across residential, multi-unit and commercial work.
BF Property started as a small Canterbury building and development company in 2009 under the name Buildfirst Ltd. Initially starting with build to rent, and single home builds, we pivoted for a time to helping independently with the Christchurch Earthquake repair program.
The work over this period was broad and challenging, focusing on both residential andcommercial re-levelling, repair and reinstatement. Following the conclusion ofthe EQ work we returned to direct to client building and development of standalone homes and multi unit townhouses.
Over 17 Years the building team has grown into multiple teams and multiple building projects, building townhouses and multi units across the city, covering the mid to higher tier builds.

We have years of direct development knowledge and builders on staff. Unlike other development companies, our own staff build the properties, and your job is not bumped off to a different sub contractor like a hot potato. This provides us with better quality control and up to the minute knowledge of the project timeframe. You get direct feedback on building progress and better value.
Each project is typically between one house to twelve units at a time across greater Christchurch. Our experienced management team oversee the building contract from foundation to handover. We are able to co-ordinate from the site selection, and design through to completion, or step in at any stage if you have the land and or plans already completed.
